Sort a result set in ascending order:
SELECT From_User_Name, Text FROM Tweets ORDER BY Text ASC
Restrict a result set to the specified number of rows:
SELECT From_User_Name, Text FROM Tweets LIMIT 10
Parameterize a query to pass in inputs at execution time. This enables you to create prepared statements and mitigate SQL injection attacks.

Aggregate Functions
COUNT
Returns the number of rows matching the query criteria.
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM Tweets WHERE From_User_Name = 'twitter'
COUNT(DISTINCT)
Returns the number of distinct, non-null field values matching the query criteria.
SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT From_User_Name) AS DistinctValues FROM Tweets WHERE From_User_Name = 'twitter'
AVG
Returns the average of the column values.

Returns the minimum column value.

JOIN Queries
The Provider for Twitter supports standard SQL joins like the following examples.
Inner Join
An inner join selects only rows from both tables that match the join condition:
SELECT u.Name, u.Friends_Count, u.Followers_Count, m.Favorite_Count, m.Retweet_Count, m.Text FROM Users u INNER JOIN Mentions m ON u.Id = m.User_ID
Left Join
A left join selects all rows in the FROM table and only matching rows in the JOIN table:
SELECT u.Name, u.Friends_Count, u.Followers_Count, m.Favorite_Count, m.Retweet_Count, m.Text FROM Users u LEFT JOIN Mentions m ON u.Id = m.User_ID
Date Literal Functions
The following date literal functions can be used to filter date fields using relative intervals. Note that while the <, >, and = operators are supported for these functions, <= and >= are not.
L_TODAY()
The current day.
SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE MyDateField = L_TODAY()
L_YESTERDAY()
The previous day.
SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE MyDateField = L_YESTERDAY()
L_TOMORROW()
The following day.
SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE MyDateField = L_TOMORROW()
L_LAST_WEEK()
Every day in the preceding week.
SELECT * FROM MyTable WHERE MyDateField = L_LAST_WEEK()
L_THIS_WEEK()
Every day in the current week.

Every day in the following week.
